The Xerox Phaser 6300 Printer is capable of handling the demanding tasks of a busy office setting. Despite its compact size (18″ height x 22.8″ depth x 16.9″ width), it performs quickly but with simplified operation. There are several different features which allow room for maximizing output while keeping production and Xerox 6300 ink and toner costs low.

An 800-MHz PowerPC processor is fast enough for the machine to take less than 12 seconds to dish out the first page. 2400 dots per inch of resolution provides colored and black and white printouts with clear details and true-to-life colors. To help with enhanced color rendering, Xerox has included the Automatic Color Correction technology. This enables the machine to decide on the best printing method to use on different page elements, such as text, graphics or photos.

There are several different media sizes the machine can work on. They include: letter (8.5″ by 11″), legal (8.5″ by 14″), executive (7.25″ by 10.5″), A4 (8.25″ by 11.7″), A5 (5.83″ by 8.25″), folio (8.5″ by 13″), and statement (5.5″ by 8.5″). Up to a max custom size of 8.66″ by 35.4″ can be used as well. Some supported media types are: regular bond, coated paper, transparencies, labels, envelopes and business cards.

Up to a max of 5 media trays can be attached to the 6300, making the handling capacity to a whopping 2,300 media sheets. With a duplex unit, two-sided printing frees you from having to reload a paper each time you need to print at the back side. Multiple jobs can be placed on the machine at once, thanks to the Job Pipelining innovation available.

This Xerox offering carries with it some other innovative features that help enhance productivity. For instance, there’s the Run Black feature that switches to monochrome printing should the color cartridges get depleted of toners. Watermark feature allows you to include texts such as “draft” or “confidential” in the background of the document. Then there’s also the Secure Print feature, which requires password entry prior to printing confidential matters.

Without putting performance on the line, this machine can be installed swiftly. One Touch Installer requires you to just press a button, and the printer installs itself within 3 minutes. Hooking it up to a PC or network structure is just as easy. This, thanks to a couple of connectivity choices: high-speed USB 2.0 and Ethernet 10 Base-T/100 Base-TX RJ-44 connections.

These days, it’s important for the workplace to contain production cost. Fortunately for you, this machine has a monthly duty cycle rating of 120,000 impressions. What’s more, Toner Saving mode enables you to print drafts without using too much toner. Also, PhaserSMART technology enables troubleshooting by online means, thereby sparing you from the need to hire and pay for a technician each time.

There’s also the CentreWare IS embedded, to help you manage and configure the printer from any computer linked to the network. The Xerox Phaser 6300 Printer with Xerox 6300 transfer roller can be installed easily so the office can take advantage of its features right away. Operation is also trouble-free, and the high-quality Xerox Phaser laser toners allows for achieving professional-looking results each time. The features Xerox has added help make this machine keep up with your productivity requirements and save money on toner.
