garmin gps?

i have a hand held garmin gpsmap76CSx and i put some stuff on the memory card but i cant get it off!!! the usb thing doesnt show in the my computer and in th trip & waypoint manager software when i got to utilities- erase garmin storage card… a window pops up that says usb data card programmer and a thing that says refresh list with a little list thing above it but it doesn’t have anything then theres 2 buttons at the buttom that say erase but you cant click on erase because theres nothing on the list or cancle which you can click on the thing were it finds drivers for the new hardware thing said that it was ready to use HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im getting very angry
will some one please answer first right answer that works gets best answer!!
WHY WONT ANY ONE ANSWER MY QUESTIONS!!!?

I’m not real sure what you have happening, but try bringing up Map-source…then click on “File” …then on “Open”.

Under ‘Look In’ there should be a file called “Garmin”

This should bring up a list of data files stored. If the one you want to get rid of is listed…right click on it and select delete.
