iPhone 2g 3.0 Version GPS Signal?

Hi,
I installed tomtom US-Canada on my iPhone 2G Firmware 3.0 (jailbroken). The application keeps saying searching for GPS Signal but never really gets it. Can any one suggest what could be wrong?

If i were you, i would take your phone to a apple store or att store!
