Directional Amplified
What kind of antenna do I buy?
I have a converter box. I’m in Palm Harbor, FL which is about 35 miles to the TV transmitters. My balcony/windows all face the opposite direction too. I’m in an apt complex on the second floor. I got basic rabbit ears which dont work very well. I see I can get different kinds like amplified, directional, flat. Any recommendations for my particular situation?
I can only put an outside antenna on my balcony, will that be any more effective?
At 35 miles, you need to get the antenna outdoors, or at least in an attic. You should try to see if the apartment management will erect a shared antenna on the roof of your apartment, especially if all the stations are in one direction. Otherwise you’ll need to get either satellite or cable service.
