I had some paper jams at first and then I read the manual that came with it. You can not just add the paper. You have to first pull the paper tray open and place the paper, and then close it back up. If you just try to drop in the paper it will definitely jam. There could be better instructions for loading paper. With that one exception it works awesome.
This fax is not super special, but it does the job.
I never experienced a paper jam since I only fax out and don’t get incoming faxes. Sending isn’t all that quick but I like it for my needs. The price is great and I don’t need a lot of gadgets to satisfy my home office needs. I have bought Sharp a few times now and never had a problem, I like this item.
