How to make the temperature of a thermostatic valve in the shower?
I moved into a dorm and we all have our own showers. They are all equipped with Armitage Shanks Thermostatic valves, which are supposed to control the temperature. But I am always hot, it is also to lowest setting of 1, the temperature the water is above 45deg C. I've had a look at the unit but can not really see how they would be recruited. On the left side of the hot water and is the cold is going on the right side, then in the thermostat unit and comes from the top of the shower head.
At 45C, you are under the normal clean water Temperature range of 49-52C, so you're probably at the lower limit for the shower thermostat setting. You could try calling the technical support Armitage Shanks Number 0870 122 8822 and see if there is any way to lower the minimum setting of the temperature. If you learn to control valves, then maybe you can, the hot water valve near a point where the mixed water will be cool enough for you. You can better contact with the dorm maintenance people and asked them to lower the temperature for you.
