How long will your ears be sore after you finally get an ear infection?
I was battling an ear infection about three weeks. Finally the heavy pressure in the ear and the pain subsided. The audiologist said that my ears looked fine, and that the cure or almost healed. My ears still hurt, but now Analgesics, the pain go away, where they still hardly helped. The pain I feel now feels like I bruised eardrum. How long will it take for all, go to the pain? Is it normal for pain after the infection goes away? The last time I saw the doctor on 2 / 10 and she said she looked good. Of course, everything they can see the eardrum and can not all the way down the eustation tube, which, if I could still blockade. FYI, I went through two different types of antibiotics and no Experience discharge from the specialist gave me steroids. My last pill was steroid 2 / 10. The pain comes back and seems to make progress on the status 2 / 13. Do I need to back on steroids?
After such a severe infection, yes, some residual pain normal. How long has it been said since the ear specialist, she looked almost healed? If it's only been a few days, the pain is nothing to fear. If it's been a week or more than you should go back to the doctor.
