Fish finders with gps?

I have been looking around for a good fish finder with a navionics mapping. i was lookin at a lowrance hds 5 with lake insite mapping, but i heard it was not as good as a hummingbird 788ci combo with the navionics gold mapping. I am using it for muskie fishig up north. I am not sure what i should get, im have no clue what is considered a good mapping/gps/fish finder. I just need to find out whats the better fish finder. thank you.

I would buy the lowrance hds 5, because the side imaging will be coming out soon and from what I seen from the reviews at ICAST, the side imaging is just a little bit better on the lowrance because it covers straight down as well. The only thing I don’t like about either set up is that it is mounted in the rear of the boat. I do not fish in the rear of the boat. We need a modification so it can be mounted on the front!!!! I have never owned a hummingbird, but my dad does have the hds 7 with insight mapping and it is awesome! I can’t wait to see the side imaging on it!
