How to apply to Herndon High School if your in the South Lakes District?
I live in Herndon, Virginia, but I am in the South Lakes district. I want to take AP Corces in high school, but South Lakes only has IB. I don’t think anyone can take AP Cources as a freshman, but is there anyway to start out at Herndon as a freshman? If so, can someone please tell me the steps.
Well if you live in the South Lakes district then you cannot change you school unless your move into Herndon district. However, being that you are a freshman there are no AP or IB classes until you get to your Junior year. I would suggest taking honors classes as a start becuase it’s honors classes are usualy required before taking any AP classes. Therefore, take the IB classes offered at your school and you will get college credit for passing them. Good luck.
