iphone gps europe maps
GPS unit for laptop, make it work with Google Maps?
Hi,
I would like to use my LapTop in my vehicle, i’ve got the mobile internet flash disc from T-mobile.
I would like to make it work as the Google maps on for instance, Blackberry or iPhone.
So I’d see me (as the blue dot) on the map.
Or is there some other software which would allow me to do that? I need map of Europe since I am from here.
Any ideas please?

If you use Google Maps, or any online map service, you are dependent on Internet connectivity, Mobile Internet may not be available in all locations, and it may cost a lot of money. An alternative is to use mapping software that installs map data right on the hard drive of your laptop. Since you are located in Europe, I’d suggest you look into Microsoft’s AutoRoute product http://www.laptopgpsworld.com/microsoft-streets-trips/2709-review-microsoft-autoroute.html . It is an excellent trip planner, easier to use, and with many more features, than any online map product. You may opt to buy the package that includes a compatible USB GPS receiver.
