Where is the best place to find forecasts of WIND for sailing inland lakes.?
Are wind forecasts on the internet somewhere so that I can find the direction, steady wind and gust forecasts for inland lakes, especially in Western States?

Forecasts and real time data aren’t available for all areas though, just where they have data gathering devices or shipping reports. It’ll depend largely if your area is represented or not but the website is fairly easy to navigate (pardon the pun) to find your geographic location.
