gps with bluetooth and traffic
TomTom Go GPS (US version) – Any Verizon Wireless customers got their TomTom Traffic to work?
I just purchased a TomTom Go 510 GPS. I was only informed after the fact by TomTom tech support that TomTom Traffic (via cellphone bluetooth connection) would not work with the Verizon Wireless network. I find this quite hard to believe, especially the fact that they did not disclose this info on their product itself. I you are a Verizon Wireless customer and got your TomTom traffic to work through your cellphone, please tell me step-by-step how you did it. Thanks!!
No, it’s true. It’s not the TomTom or the network, it’s the fact that Verizon Wireless locks the Bluetooth functionality out of the phones so you can only use it for a headset.
