gps units for geocaching
geocaching gps units and mac compatibility?
So, i did some geocaching with the family over the holidays. My dad had just bought a garmin handheld GPS. the one he bought was about $500 because it was the only one we could find that was mac compatible. Do you happen to know if they need to be mac compatible? after having used my dads one for a bit, it didn’t seem like that would be a necessity. thoughts? thanks!
I don’t really understand the question but we have a cheaper Garmin handheld (etrex series) and can use with our mac or pc with Windows. There are a few geocaching programs (for downloading geocaches) available for mac.
