GPS Trackers?

I’m looking into getting a GPS tracker for my car (portable one). Is there any brand that is better then others? Are they permanent in your car? How do they work? Is there a monthly fee for ones that tell you were traffic is? How do they get updated (since roads change)? Do you have to program them? I’m looking for one that can give me directions when i’m trying to find a place. Any information is great! Thanks

Nuvi 350 by Garmin is the one to own. I was not impressed with the two first ones i had, but this nuvi 350 knocked my socks off. It is complete in every way. check it out on the net. There are cheaper ones, but you get what you pay for.
