gps software for blackberry free
maps for blackberry curve, with no data plan?
Hi all, I just got a blackberry curve with GPS. I don’t want to use the GPS service or get a data plan (my bill is already 175 a month for family plan). But I would love to be able to have street maps and such. Is there any free software and/or maps that i can use? A link would be helpful. The main criteria is…does not need GPS network activation. does not need data plan activation. Thanks to all who respond!
thanks, i installed mgmaps, but it requires a data connection. Thanks for the input though.
I was wrong, it does work. I just have to jump through some hoops. Thanks!
try mgmaps.com … its not straightforward to use … you need to create maps by specifying coordinates etc., it can also use your curve’s gps with the stored maps.
all this from the website and forums … haven’t tried it myself yet.
