can I order a lincoln navigation system online and put it in my 06 lincoln towncar??
I have a 2006 lincoln towncar with a stock radio.. I want to put a stock lincoln navigation system in it.. I called Ford and was told that they dont sell them.. it must be added when the car is bought. I see some for sale online and was wondering if I ordered 1 could I get it installed and would I need more then just the unit?? like would I need and extra wires or gps or what??
most required a DVD drive to load the mapping software. on towncars it is in the trunk. if you could find the head unit and drive you would still need the mounting hardware for the drive and the cables. would be a lot cheaper to go aftermarket. at least $1000 cheaper.
