Best GPS for the Money for rugged trail use and some city.?

Just shopping for a GPS – I want a portable, color, detailed GPS Unit for rugged trail use including ultrarunning, hiking, mtn biking and road cycling. I’ve checked out Outiside Magazine, but I can’t decide based on reviews. I am curious about the Sunnto x9i and others as well. Any advice?

Garmin eTrex Legend and Vista are now available in color. I have the Vista B&W version from about 2 years ago and it works awesome. If you want to spend a little more check out the Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx. My brother bought one a few weeks ago. It gets great reception(picks up tons of satelites even inside) and the resolution is awesome. I’m not sure if I would want to carry it though if i am doing ultrarunning though.
