gps reviews garmin nuvi 255
should i buy the garmin nuvi 255 or 265t?
Both cost $179 from Amazon and Tigerdirect. My wireless phone is not compatible with the bluetooth for 265t . Great reviews for nuvi 255 but very little review for 265 t other than the sound is not good.
Which one should I buy? Do they both have the same components inside the gps?
If you live in a fairly big/busy city I would get the Nuvi 265T. The ‘T’ indicates you get free traffic updates for the life of the unit. Most of the time that is a paid monthly subscription.

Otherwise I would go with the Nuvi 255, and save the money, especially since your bluetooth is not compatible. Otherwise the models are almost identical.

Things to consider though is that you might in the future get a phone that is compatible, and the traffic might come in handy even if you don’t live in a busy city if you plan on visiting one.
