gps reviews garmin nuvi 205w
Which GPS is Better the Garmin nuvi 205W or the Tom Tom XL 340 (or XL 340 S)?
I have heard a lot of bad reviews about Tom Tom’s and their directions and I was wondering which to buy. Which one has more signal strength and works faster? Is the Garmin more reliable? Should I go with the Garmin nuvi 205W because of the life long update (Tom Tom asks you to pay $70).
Garmin is better than TomTom, model 205W is a good one gps but model 255W is better than 205W because has a text-to-speech (you get turn by turn spoken directions with the real names of streets (e.g. “turn left in 50 feet at Nebraska Way”, rather than merely “turn left in 50 feet”)).

Tom Tom XL 340 or TomTom ONE XL-S, TomTom ONE 125, TomTom ONE 130 is a medium range but best for budget (for higher model : TomTom GO 720, 730, 930T).
