gps points on map
Mapping data points correlated with gps information?
I am driving along a route. GPS records the speed (miles per hour) every 5 seconds. Laptop records the speed correlated with GPS information in a logfile. Is there a program that allows me to plot all of the data and assigns colors (RGB color gradient) to the speeds, and plots the data on a map according to the GPS information?

MapInfo Professional will do it, but it’s rather expensive.
ESRI is even better – but even more expensive.
