gps phone tracking verizon
cell phone gps tracking question for all you networking gurus?
how do i track my kids phones on the net without having to go through Verizon? They offer a service that is ridiculous because they tell your kids you are tracking them. So if my teenager knows this they will just shut off there phone or leave it at there friends house.
The problem you have is….you need a receiver capable of listening to the correct satellite signal and then translating that with information you can use.
The dude ahead of me gave two sites. One does not work, but the other only gives a city locale, which could be useful, but unless someone else out there knows a way around this, I think this is the best you will do.
Greedy companies like at&t know you are stuck and if you want the capability of utilizing gps then they will make you PAY for it. Everyone wants to charge you for every single solitary thing known to man…..so, as a result it makes things like this difficult.
Your kids’ cell phones report their location to a satellite, and that signal is what you need….you need a device, like I said, that can capture it, interpret it and then display it with useful info…..that’s what you need, but…..always a but……I am not sure if you can acquire such a device, and if you can…..at what cost. Again….it all comes back to money. It’s a shame, but that’s how things stand for you.
I know this isn’t useful, but I thought understanding what you’re dealing with might help in some way.
