Devices like nokia n810?

Im looking for a device similar to the nokia n810 but it has to be a mid because i dont want to pay for service. I would like a camera and gps and would appreciate it beign under 300$

Here’s the main two I would recommend other then the N810.

Samsung Mondi. The Mondi has a 3.0 mega pixel camera on the back and a web cam on the front. It also has WiMax is addition to WiFi and it even has GPS. The Mondi is a little expensive though. If you buy it new from Amazon (which is one of the only places the sell it) it will run you a little over 450$. And keep in mind it only has 4GB of memory out of the box so it will cost you even more money to buy a memory card.

However you can get it much cheaper on eBay.

The Mondi pretty much fits what your looking for but it is quite expensive.

Your only other option is the Sony Mylo 2. It does not have GPS and it’s camera is lower quality then the Mondi’s but it still is a outward facing camera and not a web cam. You can get a Mylo 2 for well under 200$ but hunting one down can be a bit of a problem. Sony discontinued the Mylo 2 over a year ago and the only places you can get one are eBay and Craigslist but even there you still only have a few different offers.

As you can see you can only get one used but if your lucky you might even be able to get one for around 100$ but like the Mondi it has a tiny amount of built in memory (1GB) so you will need to spend a good amount of money on a memory card if you want the store much media.

If you want to spend as little money possible then get the Mylo 2 but if you can afford the Mondi I recommend getting that. But the N810 is still a very good device it might only have a web cam but it’s got the features of the Mondi for hundreds of dollars less. Honestly my first choice would be the N810 as out of the three it offer the best value but if the N810 is ruled out the the other two are really your only options.
