gps navigator for blackberry
GPS Navigator for Blackberry 8830 (Verizon Wireless)?
Hello….. I use to use VZ Navigator which was great. However, I just purchased this 8830 last night and they said Get It Now is not available on this PDA.
Does anybody have any favorites as far as third party GPS for a PDA? I’ve seen Wayfinder and some other company out there.
Also, any idea if MiniTones can run on this thing?

The “Maps” application should already be installed. If not, you can open the web browser, go to the home page and find a link from there to download it for free.
Also, make sure you turn on the GPS function on the BB. Go to Options, Advanced Options, GPS. Set the GPS service to “location on.”
It goes without saying that you should also have voice and data service for your BB.
