Satellite Navigation / GPS software website, with little cartoon intoduction.?

Does anyone know the website of a Satellite Navigation / GPS software website which has lots of little cartoons to explain everything about the software to you, I think it was free to download but you had to pay to use the navigation part of the software. And all done in a kind of wild-west / old North American voiceover I seem to remember. All for mobile phones, and you could also share details with your friends who also were using the software on their phones. Anyone? Cheers!
