gps mapping software garmin
Can I use maps other than Garmin in a Garmin GPS?
I am considering getting a Garmin GPS, but it seems they only want you to use their own software, and it’s not cheap. What about other GPS software/maps? Will they work in a Garmin unit?
Get a Garmin. Its the best and the most accurate. Garmin pre- installed maps would be ok for two years without an update. I saw a 2110 update in walmart for $45 compare to $79 Magellan map.
Other GPS maps won’t work in Garmin so as Garmin maps can’t be installed in other brands.I have 2 Garmins and 2 Magellans.
