Garmin GPS Map Updates?
I got a Garmin GPS 330 for Christmas and how do I update the maps? Major restaurants and malls are missing from my device that have been around for at least 5 years.
Unfortunately I think their maps are just out of date. I got my dad one for Christmas and the road right by their house that’s been completed for two or three years is still showing as not there, even though Google Maps shows it as complete.
I looked on the internet and they released their 2008 update around July of this year and all units bought after that will already include it. If you’re not sure though you can go to Garmin.com and click on “Maps” and enter your serial number to see if there are any updates available. Any GPS unit purchased after May 2007 can get the update for free.
