gps latitude and longitude
yahoo maps and Longitude / latitude gps?
In Yahoo maps I can right click on a location and select drive to here I get a Longitude and latitude reading. This dose not match my GPS. Whats the trick to converting Yahoo numbers to my numbers? Or the other way?
How close are the numbers? GPS errors are usually about 100 feet – 200 feet range. Yahoo should be about the same error magnitude.
Are you having problem because Yahoo latitude & longitude are degrees and decimal degrees, and your GPS shows degrees, minutes, and seconds? There should be a mode to have your unit show decimal degrees.
60 minutes = 1 degree
60 seconds = 1 minute
