How to use GPS service on the laptop?

Can we use GPS service by using the internet on the laptop?? For example just by installing the GPS software and that is it!
or my laptop needs some antennas as it has to pick the signal from GPS satellites.
If so, plz tell me which antennas I need so that I can make my laptop GPS enable.
