gps iphone 3gs not working
will the iphone 3gs’s GPS and compass work without any sort of plan from at&t?
i want to buy an iphone because i want the music and app capabilities but the reason I’m not getting the ipod touch is that i want the GPS and compass capabilities. the Question is will the compass and GPS work with a used iphone 3GS that does not have any plan from at&t. i know the GPS and Compass are built into the iphone 3GS i just don’t know if you need like a data plan to use it or something else.
