Why wont my Garmin Nuvi 200W base stick on my dashboard ?
Hi i just bought a brand new Garmin Nuvi 200W and tried it out for the first time and everything went well.
I try it a second time and something happed to the stickey tape on the bottom of the dash board holder for the GPS because it wont stick at all now. It looks like a small circle of sticky tape on the base and after i used the GPS the first time i replaced the small circular cover that is supposed to protect the stick surface…….i removed the protective cover the 2′nd time i used the GPS base and it wont stick to the dashboard at all.
Does anyone know what i may have done wrong?

did u clean the surface very well before sticking it on? Should’ve cleaned with hot water and then let dry and then cleaned with rubbing alcohol…..just get some really strong double sided tape (hobby shop maybe?) and it should be better…..
funny that usually the person has more trouble operating the product than sticking it down……just thought it was amusing…..
