Which is the best value gps for hiking?
I am planning to hike down into the Grand Canyon and would like an easy to use, low cost gps. How do wrist mounted ones compare to hand held ones?
i know you are looking for a gps to hike the grand canyon, but i have to tell you that you don’t need one. i have hiked the canyon on multiple occasions and there is no need for a gps. the trails are well marked, there are rangers everywhere and you are not allowed to leave the trails because of the fragile ecosystem.
