gps for iphone download
How do i stop my iPhone connecting to the internet and downloading data without my permission?
I havent even set up my internet on my iphone, its a 2G one and for some reason Im being charged for downloaded data. The only internet I knowingly use is Wi-fi to my home internet service.
Is my iphone downloading GPS location data??
How is it downloading stuff without my permission and what is it downloading??
PLEASE help, my phone bills going to be crazy

If it’s the second generation iphone (iphone 3G), then it must be downloading the data using your 3G connection.
Go into settings and along with wifi, make sure 3G is switched to off. You can always turn it back on whenever you’re ready to surf the web or use a web-enabled app (youtube, mail etc) on your iphone. Hope that helps.
