i dont want to buy GPS is it possible that i can download maps on LAPTOP
i am goning from toronto to monteral and than quebic city

Others are just as good There is Mapquest. and http://maps.yahoo.com is also a very good one.
Click on the links and look for driving directions. They will give you a set of directions and a map. You can get this printed out at an internet cafe or for your reference.
