gps blackberry app
IS there a app available on blackberry app world which lets you broacast your location via GPS ?
I am trying to find an App which will let me broadcast my location to someone who has a blackberry to. We both use Verizon. Any suggestions ?????
The answer is no. GPS is to get and receive, not to send. You cannot send anything via GPS signal.
However, I once heard of an app in which you are located via your GPS or GPRS/EDGE/3G/phone signal (depends on which country you are in, and/or whether your service provider support it), then broadcast it via GPRS/EDGE/3G.
One another way to let the other know where you are is to send them their exact location using your Blackberry GPS. Enter Option/Advanced Options/GPS, then press Menu key and choose “Refresh GPS”. Wait for a while then you’ll have your GPS location (it is shown via latitue, longtitude). Send your location to someone.
