golf gps blackberry app
golf gps for blackberry….help?
i have a bb8330, most of the golf gps apps say they won;t work w/ the verizon phones, my question is that my phone is an alltel phone but since alltel was bought out by verizon, would these apps possibly work w/ my phone. i tried greenfinder and it worked for 8 holes, then quit. i have also used nrange and it works if i run a diagnostic test first before i open the app. both apps require a subscription but i don’t want to spend money on something if being in the verizon network is not going to let it work…….please help if u can and thanks in advance
thanks nei, i tried that one but i’m computer illiterate and could not get the course.xml as well as my club.s/distance to download to my phone…i definately think that is the best one based on what it does.
golflogix will not work on verizon,per the golflogix website. thx.
im on sprint i have a blackberry 8330 and i have golfgps-golflogix on my phone. it works really well. it cost $39, to me its well worth it, it gives you distance to: 150yd layup/125/100 fairway bunker, green ,hazard. it also tracks stats if you want to, gir #ofputts, fairways hit, #ofchips, #ofpenalty. pretty easy to use
