enable gps iphone 3gs
Is there a way to disable the GPS function on an iPhone 3GS so your location cannot be tracked?
I don’t know exactly how they are able to do it, but my parents have found a way to track my location very accurately based on my GPS signal from my iPhone, and it’s become intrusive. I have Loopt, but I don’t think they have my account name, and I can’t find any other app they might have installed that would enable me to track me down. I don’t want to keep my phone perpetually turned off, but I don’t want to feel tracked down either. Is there a solution?
I don’t know anything about Loopt or how disable the GPS function, but is your phone on a family plan? I was just viewing my Sprint family plan details. It turns out for $5 per month I can get Sprint Family Locator. Brief description,:”Sprint Family Locator allows you to locate loved ones without disturbing their activities. See your child’s location on an interactive map from your PC or phone, receive automatic notifications that a child is at or away from landmarks you set up, and easily send them text messages” There is an incredibly long list of phones for which it says you do not have to download any additional application. Never forget – Big Brother is watching you!
