If you are a passenger in a car and the police pull it over?
This happened to me once and the officer ask for my name, birthdate and social secuirty. He also wanted a picture id. Does that information stay in the computer where t is stored or do they use it to check to see your history and then it’s deleted? I’m clueless. The Police Officer pulled up on us because we pulled over to get correct address to plug into the gps and we parked in a storage unit facilty and they saw us from the main street.
It’s possible that the information would be stored for a few months if he suspected you were up to criminal activity.
If he just checked your records, then it is not stored at all. I do this routinely.
